Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Kona Cafe is located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort on the second floor or the Lobby.  They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chances are if you have heard of the Kona Cafe the words “Tonga Toast” are not too far behind!

While I have been successful at scoring a table by just walking up and waiting a few minutes, if you have your heart set on eating at the Kona Cafe I would recommend making a reservation.  You can make a reservation by calling   (407) 939-3463 .

The breakfast menu consists of traditional breakfast fare with a Hawaiian twist. Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes, The Big Kahuna (french toast, pancakes, eggs, home fried potatoes, ham bacon and sausage), a beautiful Fruit Plate and Tonga Toast ( french toast stuffed with bananas rolled in cinnamon and sugar) are just a few popular items on the breakfast menu.  The lunch menu has an Asian flare with items like the Asian noodle bowl, Beef Teriyaki Salad, Big Island Pork BBQ Tacos, and a Kona Club Sandwich along with many other options.  Dinner options include Steak, Chicken and Fish but the real winner on the dinner menu is all of the beautiful dessert options to choose from!

If you have been thinking about trying the Kona Cafe, give it a try! We have had lovely experiences here! The Kona Cafe is a great break from the Parks, in one of the best Resorts Walt Disney World has to offer!
