I love the Disney Dining Plan, that is no secret, so I thought I’d pass along to you the changes to the 2013 Disney Dining Plan.
The biggest change, in my opinion, is that Le Cellier has changed from being 1 table service at lunch to 2 table service credits. So now it doesn’t matter what time of day you dine at the popular restaurant be prepared to shell out 2 precious dining credits. I have been taking advantage of the 1 credit at lunch, so I am a little disappointed to hear the changes. I think this will make me reevaluate eating here in the future.
Pricing has also increased for the 2013 year, as we expected. Prices are as follows:
Quick Service Dining Plan:
$37.58 per night ages 10 and up
$14.32 per night ages 3-9
(all year long)
Standard Dining Plan
(value and regular season)
$55.59 per night ages 10 and up
$17.16 per night ages 3-9
(peak season)
$56.94 ages 10 and up
$18.16 ages 3-9
Deluxe Dining Plan
(value and regular season)
$99.97 ages 10 and up
$26.84 ages 3-9
(peak season)
$102.27 ages 10 and up
$28.91 ages 3-9
The quick service dining plan and the standard dining plan only went up a few dollars between 2012 and 2013 but we see a very steep increase in the 2013 Deluxe Dining Plan. I think the best value for your money, and the dining plan I love, is the Standard Plan!
Some other changes also include:
- Gratuity fee may be added to your bill for items not on the Disney Dining Plan, for instance alcoholic beverages.
- There might also be a surcharge if you are on the Disney Dining Plan and order off of a prix fixe menu.
- You will need to keep in mind the new cancellation policy. You must cancel on a Disney Dining Reservation by 10pm the day before to avoid any fees.
