I am always on the lookout on new ways to save money while at Walt Disney World! Especially on little things so I can spend that money on making a memory like a really nice meal or the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I have included this tip somewhere on my blog before but I don’t think I have really put it into practice until this past trip!
Bring your own drinks into The Parks! Seriously, this is a no joke tip whether you have a refrigerator in your resort room or not. Where I live a 24 pack of Diet Coke runs you about 6 bucks (same with other types and brands). At the Disney Parks two ice cold sodas are going to run you about the same price! 24 versus 2.. hello! Now here is the kicker. If you ask at any counter service location they are required to give you a cup of ice! It is a regular sized beverage cup complete with a straw and lid if you like!
Then you have two options: Pour your canned soft drink right into the cup of ice, or transfer the ice to your Walt Disney Resort Mug and then add your beverage in! I prefer to use my resort mug for 3 reasons: 1. It’s cute
2. I have already purchased my mug and filled in up each morning with diet coke to take to the park so I already have it with me. I might as well use it over and over to get my moneys worth 3. Since it is a mug it keeps my beverage cooler longer, it doesn’t sweat, and I can close the drinking hole when I go into a ride or show so no bugs can get in!
We really saved a lot of money by bringing our own drinks into the parks and I encourage you to do the same!

Our family also does this. We bring water bottles so we can refill them for free all day at any water fountain. If you don't like the taste of their tap water you can bring those little flavor packets made by Crystal Light or Kool Aid brands to mix with the water right in the bottle. Cheap and compact for carrying around all day.
