With a Walt Disney World vacation quickly approaching the first item of business is actually paying for the trip! Payment in full is due at the 45 day out mark of your trip. You can pay for your Walt Disney World vacation in payments, or make a full payment anytime including on the 45 day mark. This is an important detail! Without paying you wont go!
Now I know that paying for a Walt Disney Vacation isn’t always easy. Depending on where you are staying and what type of tickets you decided on it can get very pricey. The very best way to make a couple hundred bucks if you are coming up a little bit short is to have a garage sale! Sort through toys and old kids clothing. That stuff flies off tables at garage sales. Even if you only have a table or two, one Saturday morning and a little work is going to be well worth your time! Even if it is a last minute garage sale still go for it! Just list your sale location on Craigslist and watch the cash roll in!
Don’t think you have enough stuff for a garage sale? Or maybe you only have large items – list them on Craigslist! I have had GREAT success with selling unwanted items within a few days. Just make sure you only take cash, you wouldn’t want to be responsible for a bad check. With only 50 days to go, and really only 5 to get your money in order this is a great way to get the last little bit you may need! Anything helps.
Do you have garage sales to help you Disney Fund or do you have other ways of getting a saving money for your trips? Please share, I would love to know!

Too bad we don't have kids! LOL. When we've had garage sales never made more than $150. Well, saying you already paid for the tickets and hotel…maybe you can take money per paycheck and set aside for Disney spending (toys, cloths, other Disney items, etc.). Even if you can only put aside $25 per week = that'd be almost $175 saved up in 7 wks! Of course, if you can save more, then do!
IF you have a lot of scrap metal, I hear a particular kind of wire (granted you must remove the plastic outer) is worth more than some other things, you can turn that all over for some quick case. Know that prices change daily and weekly can change dramatically. My boyfriend's family did this for their business…not for a Disney trip, but I imagine it can work the same for personal metal!
I have had a great return on all of the yard sales i have had in the past year and a half. i think in 6 total sales, my friends/ family and i have made over $2200 to contribute to our disney trips! NO KIDDING! i simply send out an email to coworkers or FB friends to send me their junk! it's going to go into the trash anyway, or they will ship if off to goodwill- why not hoard it for a few weeks?? get enough to spread out on a few tables and make money!! My family of 5 could never aford to stay at Disney for 7 nights with 5 park hoppers and Dining Plan- plus the 10 hour drive with gas prices so high!! this is my way of making my families dreams come true!!

We participate in a local kids consignment sale twice a year. It's great to be able to just drop off the items, and the event organizers take care of the rest. We also volunteer to staff a few of the shifts during the sale, which gives us an additional percentage in profit. Then a few weeks after the sale, we get a nice check in the mail. The sale is taking place a few weeks before we leave for WDW, so the timing could not have been better! Thanks for all of the other great ideas @delightfullyWDW!!!
