I want to go to Disneyland!

Welcome to those of you joining me from DISTherapy and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail.  This months topic on the Magical Blogorail is what other Disney Destination would you(me) like to visit.  You all know that Walt Disney World is my home base, it is what I blog and give tips and info about, but I have always wanted to visit Disneyland too!

Disneyland has a lot of cool things going on, the new Carsland – yehya! But there is one unique thing going on at Disneyland that attracts me too it more than anything else! This fun unique thing is only available around Christmas time (and my birthday) and not everyone gets to witness and indulge in it.  Have you guessed it yet?

If and when I get to head over to Disneyland in California I want to go so I can see how they make the candy canes from start to finish over at Disneyland’s Candy Palace!! Only at Christmas time can you see these precious canes being made from start to finish and even get to buy them in the store.  The candy makers only make so many for people to buy a day so a Candy Cane Race has been put into effect where people race to the shop to get their ticket to purchase these beauties! Although there were reports last year that they started giving out the tickets for the candy canes at the gate so there was no mad dash.  You can purchase 2 candy canes per person for almost $10 each, expensive for a candy cane but whatever I would so do it!

I don’t personally have any experience with the making of the Candy Cane but there is a great review and pictures over HERE at The Disney Food Blog!  You should really REALLY check it out!  What a neat experience.  One of these days I will be there, and my birthday is one week before Christmas so hopefully I will be able to squeeze in a trip for a birthday gift from my hubby! *hint hint*
