Welcome to those of you joining me from It All Started With A Wish . I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
Walt Disney World is a beautiful and fun vacation spot. But to my family it is more than that, it is almost a way of life. I have been going to WDW every other year since I can remember. Since my daughter was born we have been fortunate enough to travel at least once a year to WDW for our family vacations. Our whole family goes (my mother and father, my husband, me and our daughter). It is a family tradition that I hope carries on for a long time. With that being said getting to WDW isn’t always easy. The cost is very expensive. I am sure there are cheaper ways to do a WDW vacation than the route we choose, but we cannot image our vacation without some of the special extras we do! My husband and I are younger parents and I am very blessed that we have made the decision to let me stay home and raise our daughter. It is a great gift that my husband has given me. However, that means my husband is the sole supporter for our family. He works his tail off to provide for us and does a fantastic job at it! It is more tiring than I can image at times, but I hope he knows how truly grateful we are for his sacrifices.
With all of that being said this picture is by far, my all time favorite Disney photograph. No characters, no iconic pictures in the background. Just a daddy and daughter making memories that will last a lifetime. Two people so emerged in the magic that is Walt Disney World that noting else matters. When this picture was taken there wasn’t phone calls to answer and emails to check- we weren’t waiting in a line for a ride or seeing a show. It was if time was standing still and all that mattered was the moment we were in (and the giant bowl of icecream we were enjoying). That is why this is my favorite picture and why Disney is and will always be my favorite place.
